COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

According to the CDC, COVID-19 community levels in Philadelphia are currently low (“green”). However, because there is a wide spectrum among the attendees when it comes to age and health status, we wish to proceed with an abundance of caution. Accordingly, we are asking those attending in person to please take a rapid antigen test (an over-the-counter home test) prior to arriving, and if positive, attend remotely. We also ask all in-person attendees to consider wearing a mask during the Festschrift presentations. We will have masks and tests at the event.

We understand this request is more stringent than the current COVID-19 guidelines for the City of Philadelphia being followed by Monell and our event space at the Quorum. However, we believe these extra precautions are important to ensure everyone’s peace of mind. We further understand that masks will be removed while eating and that some guests may choose to stay at a distance from others during these times.
