01 Apr Monell Chemical Senses Center Names Robert Grimaldi to Its Board of Directors

PHILADELPHIA, PA (April 1, 2025) — The Monell Chemical Senses Center, a global leader in advancing the scientific understanding of taste, smell, and related senses, today announced the election of Robert Grimaldi to its board of directors.
Grimaldi brings to Monell extensive expertise in venture and private equity funding in the life sciences. He is Chief Operating Officer – Family Office of Viscogliosi Brothers, LLC , a New York venture capital firm that specializes in the orthopedic medical device industry, bringing innovative, surgeon-developed neuromusculoskeletal technologies to market to address unmet clinical needs and benefit patients. He is also Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ad Infinitum, a Detroit, MI-based manufacturer of cryopreservation technologies for cell and tissue lines used in biomedical research.
Grimaldi currently serves on the advisory board of multiple companies in biotech, medtech and technology sectors and is President of the board of directors for The Fallen and Wounded Soldier Fund, a non-profit volunteer organization that supports Michigan-based members of the armed forces and their families. He previously served in advisory and leadership roles for several investment banking, family office and financial advisory firms, including Boulevard & Co., PNC Capital Advisors, LLC, and Morgan Stanley.
