Towards Universal Chemosensory Testing (TUCT) is a Multi-Stakeholder Series of Events to Improve Disease Risk Detection and Well-being through Smell and Taste Screening.

The event, co-hosted by the Monell Center, will be held in person in Philadelphia, November 5-7, 2023 with hybrid options.

Currently, routine evaluation of smell and taste is rare. Therefore, the number of people living with taste and smell disorders is not well documented and doctors cannot readily use the sense of smell to manage health outcomes. To solve this problem, we need to create a roadmap to integrate taste and smell testing into annual checkups.

We seek conference sponsors to help us convene a diverse cross section of scientists, clinicians, and people with lived experience of sensory disorders to create broad consensus on the steps needed to get us to this future. With your support, we can make smell and taste testing for all a reality.
